Hello and welcome to the E-Portfolio detailing my professional and academic experience during three months in Sevilla, Spain. I spent the semester abroad learning and teaching to better understand second language acquisition. Through International Studies Abroad, I participated in a program entitled, “Education in a Multicultural Context” and learned more about what it means to truly create a multicultural and inclusive learning environment. I also logged over 20 hours of volunteer experience within a local elementary school teaching English to Year 2 and 4 students. I believe this experience will better equip and prepare me to properly teach all of my future students regardless of their native language.
